The word “moona” or “mouneh” in slang comes from the Arabic word mana or ma'oona, meaning "storing." In other words, it’s the English equivalent of the “pantry.” In the past, especially in remote villages in the Arab World, the moona was prepared during the bountiful harvest for consumption during winter's harsh days, providing fundamental nourishment for the daily meal, having transformed perishable produce into food with a long shelf life. Food such as olives, pickles, preserved lemons, cheese, spices, herbs, jams, etc.
There is a parking garage in the building. The building address is 730-750. We are located on Main street between Windsor street & Osborn street. The parking garage is in the back of the building on State street. Make a right turn onto Osborn street after passing Moona, then turn right onto state street. The parking garage for 730 Main Street will be on your right. We will validate your parking at the restaurant and it will be for $5 after 5pm. Enter the underground garage and upon parking, register your vehicle using the QR codes posted there (there are multiple posters with instructions on how to register your vehicle and set up a payment method, you should just need to use your camera on your phone and complete the instructions). Take the elevator up to the ground floor and then take a right, left, and another right turn down the corridor to the lobby, where you will exit onto 730 Main Street (the lobby has an orange sculpture and we are two doors down towards Mass Ave).
